In 2015, I replaced the income of my full time job by renting out my guest suite! I’ve since created a world famous property that has hosted celebrities, photo shoots, music videos and more! I turned my property into a money making machine. It wasn’t hard, it just took some commitment and a dedication to create a unique space.

In the thousands of listings I’ve scrolled through on Airbnb, VRBO and other sites, I have found very few properties that immediately stop my scroll and demand my attention.

Worse yet, are the properties that I have stayed in as a guest. Some may appear nice enough on the outside but then the problems quickly surface – everything from a lousy clean to an unresponsive host to less than intriguing decor and more.

Look, I feel it’s absolutely fantastic that sites like Airbnb make it super easy to rent a place and make some extra money. I do however believe that just throwing a space together and calling it a day is not enough.

Why not offer a property that you’ve put some heart and soul into? One that you are extremely proud to present to your guests?
